Minnesota Vikings have named 15 year veteran Quarterback Shaun Hill to start on Sunday against the Titans. He barely can get his busy son on the phone.

The Vikings will kick-off against the Packers in the first season opener in U.S. Bank Stadium history Sunday. Bradford’s parents, Kent and Martha, will come to the game from their home in Oklahoma City. Hill is expected to give way Sunday to Sam Bradford, earmarked as the likely replacement for injured Teddy Bridgewater since being acquired September 3 from Philadelphia.
The OddsShark Computer is projecting an 18.8-14.5 Vikings victory on Sunday night, but Minnesota’s quarterback issues foster doubt about their chances against the Packers.
“Playing at night probably helps us a little bit just because I think any time you have a different environment, my understanding is it’s a wonderful, handsome facility but just with during the day, with the glass roof and so forth, it’s a concern about how you handle the ball for the first time, ” McCarthy said. “They knew we wanted to run the ball”.
“It was good to see”, cornerbacks coach Joe Whitt said. We’ll post the results Sunday before the big game. He said not knowing only “lengthens” the preparation time and that the Packers won’t be surprised either way.
If you a follower of the Vikings, you are likely hoping that Bradford, the newly acquired former Eagles quarterback, will start in place of Hill-even though Hill did enough last week to secure an opening game victory over the Tennessee Titans.
The Packers star has returned from a right ACL injury that forced Nelson to miss the 2015 season. Coach Mike McCarthy’s teams are 7-3 in Minnesota (5-3 in the Metrodome), so his plan to combat the noise with silent counts and hand signals is sound. He’s been at Winter Park regularly since then, including on players’ days off. “I just run the ball”, Lacy told reporters after practice on Thursday about his success against the Vikings.
“It kind of felt like a nightclub in there and everybody kind of cheering, ” linebacker Anthony Barr said of the lights dimming against the Rams. “He was always able to pick up everything really fast”.

His father said Friday that Bradford has several relatives in the Twin Cities on his mother’s side. He received a fine for the shoes because National Football League rules say that shoes must have one dominant base color, which the Yeezy’s do not.
Whitlock was waived-injured with a foot problem late last month.
Bradford’s father said the family reunion was at Lake Itasca.

McCarthy essentially said it doesn’t matter whether he knows who is starting. He said, “In my mind, I envision those lights going off a lot for us this week”.
