The Minnesota Vikings are sending three more players to the Pro Bowl.

They join Harrison Smith, who was named to the Pro Bowl earlier Monday, NFL rushing champion Adrian Peterson and defensive end Everson Griffen to give the Vikings 5 Pro Bowlers.

Bridgewater, the 32 overall pick, helped the Vikings to an 11-5 record in his first season as a full-time starter.

In his second year, Barr totaled 68 tackles, seven passes deflected, three and a half sacks, three fumbles forced, and one interception – all while playing with a broken hand the second half of the season. Bridgewater will replace Arizona’s Carson Palmer and Barr will fill in for New England’s Jamie Collins.

The list of Vikings headed to the Pro Bowl continues to grow. He also became only the second QB in Minnesota history to throw for four touchdowns and run for one after a five-touchdown performance in against Chicago on January 20. Griffen, Smith, Bridgewater, and Barr all earned later bids.

Peterson was the only Vikings player named to the Pro Bowl when the original pool of players was announced in December.

The duo enjoyed successful seasons in the NFL after being selected in the 1 round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
