The Vikings have sold out their new stadium for the inaugural season.

The Minnesota Vikings might have been a little apprehensive about Teddy Bridgewater’s sore shoulder, but he put a rest to those concerns quickly while also putting on a show with his feet.

If history is any guide, Bridgewater will proably sit out Thursday’s preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams.

QB depth chart: Bridgewater played the entire first half and did impressive work despite protection issues.

Teddy Bridgewater, surely beaming behind his facemask, threw crisp passes as far as 35 yards in front a quiet crowd of forest animals – summoned there by the Purple Fairy – who watched through the bent-back tulips in their tiny Vikings jerseys. John Sullivan has started both games, but has struggled through both while Joe Berger waits patiently for his chance to get the nod. He flashed his impressive speed and some nice moves on a nifty 35-yard run, finishing with 63 rushing and receiving yards on nine touches. What happened next will be a thrilling, encouraging moment for fans of the Vikings, or Bridgewater.

Vikings: Backup safety Antone Exum, hurt playing on the kickoff return team, left on a cart for X-rays on his leg. During the practice, he had the offense face the large video board to get more accustomed to the field. The Chargers went up 7-6 when running back Melvin Gordon went up the middle for 39 yards and a touchdown with 9:04 left in the half.

Vikings officials say fans who want to participate in Friday’s festivities at U.S. Bank Stadium should go to the Team Locker Room Store entrance off of Medtronic Plaza. ESPN reported that offensive tackle Matt Kalil is still injured, and that tight end Rhett Ellison did not play either. Considering that, and how boring Soccer is, it’s not hard to see how the Vikings stadium could be (as the “Good Morning America” segment predicted) ten times louder than any other.

All NFL games are 60 minutes in duration (or longer), but many of them can won in a very finite window of those 60 minutes. Stefon Diggs caught five passes for 71 yards, all in the first half. Hill threw a fade for the MS product in the third quarter, and Treadwell leaped to take the ball away from cornerback Trevor Williams.
