Vikram Bhatt: Raaz Reboot hasn’t leaked

After hearing about the film’s leak, Emraan Hashmi released an official statement and urged his fans to give the movie a chance and watch it in theaters. “Only if my dates are not clashing with any of my South films, will I do Hindi films”, Kriti told Deccan Chronicle, and said she’s looking forward to the release of Raaz reboot.

Bhatt said a film’s leak damages its box office potential.

Meanwhile, Emraan requested his fans not to watch the film online.

“‘Great Grand Masti’ is an example of how terribly the business got affected”. Piracy is a rampant problem, as we have seen over the past few months with a few movies that have been leaked online before their theatrical release. “So you can imagine for a film that has not even released”, he added. “It’s a request, which I think everyone sensible will entertain”, added the “Gangster” star.

He said it is hard to police the online space.

Earlier, Shahid Kapoor-starrer Udta Punjab, Salman Khan’s Sultan and Riteish Deshmukh’s Great Grand Masti were leaked online. But the first thing I saw a few moments back was the trends list which to my horror read “Raaz Reboot Leaked”. I know I have an ongoing fight with the censor board, but that doesn’t mean that I am going to stand up and say that “Censor Board leaked the copy”.

“Apart from tweeting a special message, Emraan also tweeted, “#RaazReboot is to be watched in the theatres.

The movie also starring Kriti Kharbanda opposite Emraan will hit the theatres on September 16.
