“We were one of the best last season at home and I want to create a fortress at Old Trafford“.

Manchester United have kept a clean sheet in all three Premier League games that David de Gea has missed since the start of 2013-14.

I am taking the away side to get a win here and I think they will probably also cover the handicap but for me the value bet is to take Manchester United to win the game straight up.

United looked short of ideas for the second game in succession, casting further scrutiny on Van Gaal’s assertion that Rooney can carry the burden as United’s main striker this season.

While United’s fans will be heartened by the prospect of De Gea staying, after voting him their Player of the Year last season, the club’s former goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has been critical of the way the situation has been handled.

“He’s someone I have been tracking for a long time”, said Sherwood.

Series History: Manchester United leads the all time series with a 96-40-49 record, which include a 12 unbeaten run by United, but Aston Villa hasn’t beaten United at Villa Park in their last 20 meetings.

Carles Gil (ankle) and Jores Okore (knee) are out while Idrissa Gueye, Jordan Amavi, Jordan Ayew, Jordan Veretout and Micah Richards are also set for their home debuts. Van Gaal has no new injury concerns ahead of the trip to the Midlands. All this have made this club my top attraction.

“FC Barcelona and Aston Villa FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Adama Traore for €10m plus €2m more if certain conditions are met”, the statement said. “They could form a good partnership and it’s a battle that I won’t be stepping back from”.

When asked on if whether his team are still relegation candidates, Sherwood said, “Yes, but we know it’s going to be hard and we have to realise that”.
