Pato has signed for La Liga outfit Villarreal, who will be competing in the Champions League this season, having finished third in Spain last term, behind Real Madrid and table-toppers Barcelona.

If a deal is struck though, the clubs have agreed to leave the fee undisclosed.
“We have sold him”, said Andres Sanchez, who was president of Corinthians from 2007 to 2012 and is still involved in the club.
However, Alexandre Pato was undoubtably a Chelsea flop.
Pato struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, making just two Premier League appearances, and is now on the brink of moving to LaLiga with Villarreal.
