Vin Diesel has a Groot script for Guardians Of The Galaxy 2

James Gunn, the director of Vol. 1 and upcoming Vol. 2, recently told a fan that because he has been reborn and his now baby Groot, his memories have gone too. All the reactions, however, pale in comparison with that of actor Vin Diesel. The director behind Slither, Super, and perhaps more famously Guardians of the Galaxy keeps in contact with fans by answering random questions on Twitter or Facebook, sometimes offering revealing tidbits in the process. “I love putting this thing together”, Gunn posted on the photo-sharing website.

In what state will we find Groot at the output of the Guardians of the Galaxy 2? Or will his vocabulistics be limited to “I” and “am” and “Groot?”

You wouldn’t necessarily think that an entire script would be needed that explains what Groot’s lines mean.

Meanwhile, Gunn also spoke about Groot, who was a baby by the end of the first movie.

Groot is a man of few words – five, in fact: “I am”, “we are”, and “Groot”. To know exactly what Groot is saying would probably make that dialogue a little less meaningful in a way.

Gunn took to Instagram on Friday to share an image featuring the special screenplay which only him and Diesel have.

“It’s like seeing Santa Claus in September because you want Christmas to be tomorrow.”

It’s a 12-minute video that you should definitely check out if you feel like you need to get even more pumped for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which arrives on May 5, 2017.
