Vin Diesel offered another stirring tribute to his friend, Paul Walker, during Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards. On the show is where the girl group met One Direction.
Performances will include cast members of the Fox series “Empire“, 5 Seconds of Summer and Little Mix.
“We make these movies with our hearts”.
For the Choice Male Athlete, Stephen Curry won the list against Tom Brady, LeBron James, American Pharaoh & Victor Espinoza, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jordan Spieth.
He added: “I can’t stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about somebody very important to us”. “It was Paul Walker’s family, his brothers, his parents, that kept us going while we were filming Furious 7“. “I mean, you have a microphone in your hand”, he quipped.
Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges, the rapper and Furious 7 co-star, was one of three hosts, alongside Jane The Virgin star Gina Rodriguez and actor Josh Peck. He applauded a “special, special” teen in the crowd: Walker’s daughter Meadow.
Once she gained her composure (and balance), the young beauty laughed the entire thing off and told the audience, “I do that sometimes, guys”.
Fifth Harmony presented the surfboard to the star, who had a message about always being yourself.
