Vin Remembers Paul Walker

Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the series, thanked fans for their continued support as he paid an emotional tribute to his co-star Paul Walker at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday.

Diesel then went on to specifically call out Walker’s 16-year-old daughter, Meadow. Diesel mentioned that the Walker family encouraged them while they were shooting the movie.

Paul Walker might not have been at the Teen Choice Awards physically, but he was definitely there in spirit. We couldn’t think of a better way to keep him and his lasting legacy in our hearts. “So much love and we appreciate all of you so much”, the star wrote on the pictures.

Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris joined Diesel on the stage to accept the award on behalf of the late actor.

‘The most important thing I wanna say is just really embrace who you are, because being unique is very, very important and fitting in is not all that matters, ‘ she said.

“We miss you and we will always love you Paul”, she said.

Fellow British band Little Mix won the surfboard award for Choice Music Breakout Artists. The song See You Again, by Wiz Khalifa, which was recorded as a tribute to Walker, was named Best Movie Soundtrack.
