Virginia news crew shot at during live broadcast
Police are searching for a person who they say shot at multiple people near Roanoke, Virginia Wednesday morning.

A Roanoke TV crew was involved in a shooting on live television on Wednesday morning, according to media reports.
Authorities say there were three casualties.
WDBJ7 is reporting the shooting incident involved one of their crews and are asking for your prayers.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Phillip Young says there have been reports of an active shooter at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta. On the video you can hear seven shots fired and the photographer’s camera appears to fall to the ground while the reporter, Alison Parker, screams.

Based on a witness on the scene, there’s a major police presence in the region – around 30 to 40 policemen have answered. Law enforcement with Bedford, Franklin County and Virginia State Police are on scene. The incident remains under investigation. Remain for the most recent on this developing story.
