Virginia trucker claims $92 million Mega Millions prize at Pennsylvania

He purchased the ticket at a Milton, Pa., truck stop that will collect $100,000 for selling it.

He said he didn’t check the tickets online until late Saturday, then spent a night without sleep.

Peloquin, who through the lottery declined to be interviewed, told state officials the windfall will let him and his wife retire and spend more time with their family.

A Carrollton man has won a $1 million prize in the Mega Millions lottery. Lottery officials confirmed it was the jackpot-winning ticket after examining the ticket and executing proprietary security measures.

The Reas took a lump sum payment of $42.7 million before taxes. That victor, a woman from Texas, won $202 million after buying her ticket at Union Station in St. Louis.

The special numbers picked by Tom Rea, 62, matched all five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball, in the July 4 drawing to win the $70 million jackpot prize.
