Vivo X6, X6 Plus With 4GB of RAM, Octa-Core SoC Launched

The Vivo X6 sports 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card (up to 128GB). Both the smartphones sport the fingerprint sensors placed at the rear panel below the camera. The company has also launched the dual SIM Vivo X6 Plus with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED full-HD display, 64GB onboard storage and a 3000mAh.

Coming to the specification of Vivo X6 Plus, It features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED full-HD 1080×1920 pixels resolution display with 2.5D curved glass with a pixel density of 389ppi.

Vivo’s X6 and X6 Plus handsets have been surfacing quite frequently lately, not to mention the company has been releasing various teasers as well over the last couple of weeks. It runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system skinned with FunTouch OS 2.5, as does the Vivo X6 Plus. The Vivo X6 measures 147.90 x 73.75 x 6.56mm, while it weighs 135 grams.

As expected Vivo has launched X6 and the X6 Plus, both the devices come clad in a metal unibody and the X6 Plus is essentially the larger screened variant of the X6. The two X6 handsets are fueled by MediaTek’s MT6752 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.7GHz along with a Mali-T760 MP2 GPU for graphics which runs at 700MHz.

On the Camera front, the new Vivo X6 comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase detection auto focus sensor, 6P lens, f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash. On the back of the Vivo X6 is a 13MP camera, whereas an 8MP camera is in front. It is the first smartphone to be equipped with a ES9028 DAC chip and features the ES9603 audio amp and YAMAHA YSS-205X digital surround sound chip for an engaging audio experience on the move. The handsets will be available starting Monday. It can also be used as a self-timer shutter button for taking selfies. The smartphone features a pretty thin 6.6mm profile and comes in three different color options – Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold.

Now, it’s been confirmed that the Vivo X6 Plus will cost a total of CNY 3,200 or around $500 while the Vivo X6 is tagged at CNY 2,600 or about $390.

Looking at the exterior, we quickly realize the X6 and X6 Plus are also built from the same material, which is an adonized aluminum-magnesium alloy that requires 57 steps, including laser engraving and hand polishing.
