The Russian President was not in the auto at the time.
Although the presidential driver has not been named yet, he is reported to have 40 years of driving experience.
Presidential black BMW was at Kutuzovsky Avenue in the Russian capital on September 2, 2016, when a Mercedes Benz from the opposite side of the road crashed head on into it.
“Such an audacious threat to the life of President Putin can only be coordinated by an inside group of foreign secret service agents who have proxies operating within Moscow”.
CCTV images of the high-speed collision show the BMW exploding through a safety barrier in a cloud of smoke before spinning out of control.
As per the video, the driver of Mercedes CLS lost control of his auto and swerved into the oncoming traffic lane where he collided with Putin’s BMW 7 Series at high speed.
No other information has been made available at this point, and police are investigating the crash.
Shocking footage of the lethal crash has been released by Russian media.
The BMW in question was assigned to the Russian upper house of Parliament, the Federation Council, had no passengers when the crash occured.
