VMAs promotes Ariana Grande performance with billboard over NYC
Singer Ariana Grande has been sued by songwriter Alex Greggs for her 2014 track “One Last Time”.Greggs has claimed that the 23-year-old singer stole the hook and few lyrics of Skye Stevens’s song “Takes All Night”, which he wrote, reported E!

Ariana is set to perform at the award show this weekend, along with Nicki Minaj and they’ll be performing “Side To Side”, which is off of Ariana’s new album, Dangerous Woman.
The 2016 edition of the VMA awards is set to go down live Sunday, August 28 at 9:00 p.m. EST at Madison Square Garden in NY.
In a video promoting the show, Ariana says: “When you take the stage at the VMAs you step into another world”.
The “Into You” singer also revealed that the music video for “Side to Side” will premiere on August 28, the same date as the MTV VMAs.
Britney Spears will also be breaking it down, along with Video Vanguard recipient Rihanna.
Presenters this year include Bebe Rexha, Ansel Elgort, Puff Daddy, Alicia Keys, Jaden Smith, Kim Kardashian West, Fifth Harmony, Rita Ora, Tove Lo and Shameik Moore, with additional presenters announced at a later date.
Beyoncé – who is up for an incredible 11 prizes at the VMAs – is also said to be in talks to take to hit the stage.
Beyonce and Adele lead the pack, with the two superstars picking up 18 nominations between them.

While Minaj isn’t nominated this year, Grande pops up in five categories, including Best Female Video and Best Pop Video.
