Vodafone now covers 22m properties with 76Mbps broadband
Vodafone is making its fixed broadband service available to the entire of the United Kingdom – two months after it began rolling out to existing mobile customers. Today, the company announced it’s now available to everyone, not just those it has on its books already. Customers can choose from Superfast Fibre+ Broadband (GBP 25 per month, up to 76 Mbps), Superfast Fibre Broadband (GBP 20, up to 38 Mbps) or Broadband ADSL (GBP 10, up to 17 Mbps). Vodafone mobile customers also benefit from a £5 discount on each of the packages, and if you’re a Vodafone Red subscriber you’ll also get free anytime calling to landlines and 300 mobile calling minutes.

Every customer gets inclusive evening and weekend calls to United Kingdom landline numbers and money off Sure Signal units to boost indoor mobile coverage if necessary. “With the introduction of Vodafone home broadband combined with our ultrafast 4G, Vodafone is now well positioned to satisfy all of our customers’ connectivity needs, both at home and on the go”.
The move, Vodafone claims, will make it one of the best value broadband and home phone packages in the UK.
The mobile operator says that its service is fairly simple to setup and provides speed, reliability, unlimited data and brings with it cutting-edge features that will allow customers to share, stream and shop to their hearts’ content.
The “connect” router is seen as a key differentiator, offering users greater control over their home network.
“Boost” enables customers to prioritise WiFi speeds to a chosen device for up to 12 hours, giving that device priority over others within the home; “Beam” uses “Beamforming” technology to focus the WiFi signal to compatible devices wherever they are in the home.
