Voice Control On Apple TV Is About To Get Way More Useful

The third beta release of tvOS 9.2 also brings Siri support for App Store search. The company has been looking to bring Siri search support for Apple Music on the Apple TV. Once you’re in a text box that supports voice dictation, you’ll be prompted to hold down the “mic” button on the Siri remote to input text using voice.

Apple TV is the biggest victor in this week’s beta extravaganza, tvOS 9.2 beta 3 adds voice dictation, which means users will be able to speak into the Siri remote to enter text and fill in forms.

The fourth-generation Apple TV is generally great, but it does have a few issues, one of which is entering text with the included remote.
