Vos embarrassed Trump is GOP nominee: A ‘sad day in America’
Trump made his announcement just days after he declined to endorse Ryan and Senators John McCain and Kelly Ayotte.

He has refused to admit any error, however, on a higher-profile dispute with an American Muslim family whose son, U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan, was killed in Iraq.
“Donald J Trump is not only unqualified for the job”, he wrote in a New York Times column, “but he may well pose a threat to our national security”.
In addition to Ryan, other top Republicans from the Badger State have said they will not attend Friday’s rally.
Eager to change their minds, the Republican nominee unleashed a torrent of insults at his Democratic rival throughout the day.
At the rally, Mr Trump read from notes in announcing the endorsements.
“If you don’t like me, that’s OK”, Trump told a rally in Des Moines, Iowa.
Ryan said he “rejects” any religious test for entering the country – a clear jab at one of Trump’s evolving immigration proposals – and that “Captain Khan was one such fearless example” of Muslim-Americans who have “served valiantly in our military and made the ultimate sacrifice”.
House Speaker Paul Ryan stood by his endorsement of Donald Trump Thursday, but didn’t rule out withdrawing it at some point in the future should he deem that necessary.
By his side was running mate Mike Pence, who praised Trump’s off-the-cuff style that’s found the campaign in trouble.
The speaker also shrugged off Trump saying earlier this week he wasn’t “there yet” on endorsing Ryan in his upcoming primary next Tuesday.
Last year Mr Trump criticised Mr McCain, deriding his work in the Senate, calling him “a loser” for his defeat in the 2008 White House race and dismissing his time imprisoned in Vietnam.
“As a unified party, we will lead our country to unity, as well”, Trump said.
“You would think you ought to be focusing on Hillary Clinton and all of her deficiencies”, Ryan said.
Trump called his Democratic opponent “a unsafe liar”, “an unbalanced person”, “pretty close to unhinged”, “totally unfit to lead”, and lacking “the judgment, temperament and moral character to lead the country”.
“In one way, she’s a monster”, he said in Wisconsin. “Plus, she’s a weak person”.
This came soon after Mrs Clinton addressed her own political vulnerabilities while facing a group of minority journalists in Washington.
The Democrat had told Fox News Sunday that Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey said her “answers were truthful” about whether she sent or received classified material via private email.

She also acknowledged many people don’t trust her. “I’m not there right now”, Ryan replied. Ryan believes North Atlantic Treaty Organisation “is as important now as I would say it’s been in my lifetime”, while Trump recently suggested the United States would only come to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies’ defense if “they fulfill their obligations to us”.
