Disney Parks fans are surely familiar with Star Tours – and now the ride has been updated with characters and adventures from The Force Awakens.

A hero ventures forth from the world of common day into a region of supernatural wonder: “fabulous forces are there encountered and a decisive victory is won: “the hero comes back from this mysterious adventure with the power to bestow boons on his fellow man”. “‘They don’t want to hire all of me – only about three-quarters!”
Considering that all the action in Star Wars famously takes place “in a galaxy far, far away”, it’d be hard to pull off any blatant product placement in the movies. According to a report from Daily Mail, citing an article from Rolling Stone, Carrie Fisher wasn’t the only Star Wars actor who had to lose weight for the the seventh installment in the film series.

Such is the stealth level of the film’s producers that even the movie’s writer Drew Goddard will have to wait till its premiere to watch The Force Awakens. Creator George Lucas was quoted as saying some 15 years ago that The Force embodies “a concept of religion based on the premise that there is a God and there is good and evil”.
