Voter Registration Deadline Approaches
Absentee voting begins October. 6 for the election to be held on November. 3, 2015. First time voters should vote in person unless they are disabled, over 60 years old, need assistance getting to the polls and can not find any, or will be absent from the community for reasons such as incarceration. Military voters who have not yet registered to vote or submitted a request for an absentee ballot may still do so by visiting OhioMilitaryVotes.com or OhioVoterPassport.com for overseas voters. Applications must be received by this deadline in order to receive a ballot in the mail. Voters have until November 3, 2015, at 7:00 p.m.to return their completed absentee ballot.

Monday is also the last day to change or update your address on your voter registration, which can be done online, by mail, or in person at county boards of election. There they can also get a virtual voting sticker badge to let their friends and followers know they’ve participated in the General Election.
