In short, Super Tuesday, which covers a broad swath of the United States – and politics of all persuasions – is a potent realisation of both the economic staying power and organisational skills of all of the candidates.

Majorities of Democratic voters in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia said they want a continuation of Obama’s policies, along with about 4 in 10 voters in Arkansas, Massachusetts, Oklahoma and Texas. This is a question whose answer is no longer a secret even before the votes in primaries and caucuses are cast.
A series of winner-take-all Republican primaries is coming, none bigger than Florida on March 15, where a cache of 99 delegates is at stake and Rubio will be bidding furiously for a home-state victory against Trump, a part-time resident who got a head start on organizing there. They divided their support closely among home state victor Cruz, Rubio and Trump.
While polls show Hillary Clinton ahead of Sanders in southern states with a similar racial makeup such as Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia, she’ll still need to tap into Bernie Sanders’ strong support among white voters, specifically white men, and white younger voters. Bernie Sanders is targeting five states: Colorado, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Oklahoma.
The term “Super Tuesday” originated in the 1988 election.
Republicans will vote in 11 states, with 595 delegates at stake.
“If Donald Trump is the nominee, Hillary Clinton in all likelihood wins”, Cruz said.
In 2008, Clinton won the American Samoa Caucus against then-Sen.
Some storms are forecast for Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. Republicans also vote in Alaska, where polls are not due to close until 5:00 Wednesday.
Her most significant win came in the Lone Star State, which has 222 of the 865 delegates that are on the table Tuesday.
“It’s going to be a new day when I win Ohio”, Kasich said. Many states on Tuesday have large black or Hispanic populations.
Super Tuesday is considered a major test for those seeking the presidency. So if you’re interested in whether Sanders has a path to the nomination, you should probably take a look at how well he does with those groups in the exit polls.
The surveys found GOP frontrunner Donald Trump leading Rubio just 34% to 31% in Virginia.
