Voting third party not a waste

Green Party candidate Jill Stein attacked Hillary Clinton on Monday for her use of a private email server as Secretary of State, amid reports that notes from Clinton’s interview with the Federal Bureau of Investigation during its probe of the matter would be turned over soon to Congress.

“The response to our petition drives have been heartening and inspiring”, Stein said. It also doesn’t assure that Tim Kaine and Mike Pence will have to share space with a third-party competitor at the single vice-presidential debate.

It seeks to prevent the Oklahoma Election Board from enforcing the state’s ballot-access laws.

Jill Stein, of the Green Party, is also running for the presidency.

Mr. Johnson will appear on the ballot without the Libertarian label.

“No way that if you’re running for president and you’re not in the presidential debates – 100 million people watching the debates – there’s no way that you could win”, Johnson told Newsy.

Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson said Wednesday that his party and the Green Party do not cancel each other out.

RealClearPolitics showed Johnson polling at an average of about 8 percent to Trump’s 38 and Clinton’s 44.

As the duo looks to score prominent endorsements and bring up their poll numbers so they can participate in the presidential debates, Johnson has hinted at the possibility of winning Mitt Romney’s support – which could be critical in a state like Utah.

In its ruling, Husted’s office wrote that OH law doesn’t specifically say whether a presidential candidate can be swapped out for another, especially when petition signatures haven’t yet been verified. “Unfortunately, the politicians in Washington, Republicans and Democrats alike, have forgotten that simple, foundational American value”.

In a current combination of the polls, Clinton now has 44 percent support and Trump has 36 percent, easily securing both candidates a spot in the debates. But Johnson and Stein actually pull more from Clinton, creating a tighter race.

“If we lose, I’ll know where to go to place blame”, Stewart said. While that is much bigger than the 1% he had in 2012, he still needs to reach 15% to star in three general election debates. “The criteria will be reapplied between the first and second presidential debates and the second and third presidential debates”.

So far, neither Libertarian candidate Johnson nor the Green Party’s Stein has hit the threshold in any one poll chosen by the commission, let alone on average.
