In other Browns news, Josh Gordon (quad) has been conditionally reinstated by the National Football League, albeit with a four-game suspension to start the season.

Gordon, 25, was reinstated by the NFL on Monday after being suspended for the entire 2015 season because of repeated violations of the league’s substance abuse policy.

And that bodes well for Robert Griffin III, the presumptive leader in the clubhouse in what is ostensibly a four-man race that includes aging veteran Josh McCown, rookie Cody Kessler and the likely odd man out, Austin Davis. I said a lot of things right there.
Eagles might face a big risk by acquiring Gordon especially if they have to give up something that is better.

Jackson was brought in with the belief that he knows how to work a quarterback and run an offense, as he did most recently with Andy Dalton and the Bengals’ offense, which blossomed into one of the best in the NFL.
