“I’m born and raised in Chicago”, Wade said.

Following the personal path taken by his friend and former Miami Heat teammate LeBron James, 12-time NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade made a decision to use free agency to head back home. He’s the person responsible for D-wade leaving Miami.

It is not yet clear how these two communicated with Wade or what they talked about but the notion of Rondo convincing the former Heat shooting guard to join him in a team is very interesting especially since these two have a rough history.

While Miami fans at the AAA mourn the Heat’s loss, Chicago tourists are looking forward to watching him play for the Chicago Bulls. “I get the opportunity to live that dream out”.

Wade, who played on the 2008 US Olympic gold medal team of National Basketball Association stars, has never been the Heat’s top-paid player.

The owner of the Miami Heat, Mickey Arison, wasn’t cordial in his social media goodbye to Wade.

“You’re going to disagree, but if you all have one common goal at the end of the day and that’s to get a W, that’s all that matters”.

“Thank you @DwyaneWade for a great 13 yrs!”

Wade has agreed to a two-year deal worth $47 million, according to the AP.

“I feel like I’m in The Garden”, Wade, 34, said after he received a standing ovation from the crowd. We won together. We lost together.

Riley, meanwhile, is left with a team built around Hassan Whiteside, Justise Winslow, Goran Dragic and maybe Chris Bosh. Been there. Forever, for always, your coach I will be. Just thanks. I truly loved Dwyane, but families grow, change and get on with another life. And I’ve always envisioned myself being in the backyard, had a Bulls jersey on.

It is not breaking news now, but Dwyane Wade is headed to Chicago where he may potentially finish out his career. “He went home”, Riley’s text said.

Wade has averaged 23.7 points and 5.8 rebounds during his National Basketball Association career and is the second franchise player in the National Basketball Association to move this week, following Kevin Durant’s switch from Oklahoma City to the Golden State Warriors.
