Waiver Wire Pickups, Rankings & More
Eric Ebron, tight end, Detroit Lions – Ebron, although he is available in most leagues and is probably on your waiver wire, is still a top 15 tight end at this point. As always I list players based on ownership percentage, and hopefully you can find options that fit your league.

So let’s get right to it with this week’s waiver adds. That isn’t a particularly hard thing to accomplish, and Blue has managed it just 22.7 percent of the time. If looking to pick up one of the RBs, I’d lean towards Chris Polk over Alfred Blue, but again keep your expectations in check. In Campbell’s first two games in charge, Miller has ran for 288 yards (two 100-yard performances) on 33 carries.
Analysis: The arrow points up for Dolphins’ players across the board. Plus, as bad as the Raiders have been over the years, that didn’t stop the likes of Latavius Murray (5.2 yards per carry, 82 carries in 2014) or Rashad Jennings (4.5 yards per carry, 163 attempts in 2013) from finding success. His yardage will be depressed by Robert Turbin’s presence, and Johnson having the third down role pretty much locked down, but he’s still guaranteed to see significant action and he has a pinch of big-play ability as well. There’s no denying he has been terrific; the best running back in Arizona without a doubt, and he’ll nearly certainly get to 1,000 yards. If he is able to produce with his carries he could be a second running back in a ten team fantasy league.
You know why I’m not a fan of drafting a quarterback early? Winston has as many multi-TD games as multi-INT ones, and he’ll be capable of a few absolutely putrid performances from time. His bye week is already passed, so feel free to go with him in good matchups, or if your regular QB is off. Fitzpatrick actually has 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season, which is better than both Luck and Manning. He’s proven his consistency over the course of the season, and hasn’t had the big blow up game like we thought he might. He’s still throwing for touchdowns at a solid pace, but Luck has been a turnover machine, and that isn’t just randomness, thanks to his bum shoulder. He’ll face a Chargers secondary next week that has been generous to secondary receivers this season. He’s the next man up after Foster’s season-ending Achilles injury.

Darren McFadden had a great game in week seven after the Dallas Cowboy’s first string running back, Joseph Randle went down with a back injury. He’s a fine QB to stash for bye weeks. Ebron returned in Week 7, and had 5 catches on 5 targets for 89 yards, and a touchdown. If he stays healthy, I would be completely fine with starting him at tight end on my roster. Fitzpatrick has plenty of weapons with Marshall and Decker. He’s also quietly been offering a pinch of value on the ground, rushing for 30 yards in three straight games. Eventually, it turns into a disaster. He is fearless with the ball; often that works against him, but this week he lit up Tampa Bay for three touchdowns and 317 yards. The precocious 21-year-old is on pace for 88 catches, 1,384 yards and eight touchdowns, and none of that seems out of the realm of possibility. Diggs is a first year wide receiver for the Vikings out of Maryland. Even in a tough matchup against the New York Jets in Week 8, he’s too talented to sit.
