The Cambridge Police Department also conducted a sweep at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School after a report of a threat that was unfounded.
Lauderdale County Schools Superintendent Randy Hodges has confirmed to Newscenter 11 that bomb threats have been made to four different schools.
Some of the threats were received via an automated phone call, as in the past, according to Massachusetts State Police spokesman David Procopio.
It is one of at least ten schools responding to bomb threats around the state today.
State Police said each community was following protocol in assessing the threats and responding as needed at the local level. “The determination was then made, in concert with police, to evacuate students and staff while the building was searched”.

Procopio said that in the past when there have widespread bomb threats on a single day, they have come through robo-calls to school districts.
