Robson-Kanu, 27, became a social media sensation on Friday night after scoring the second goal in Wales’s 3-1 quarter-final win against Belgium in Lille. “They’re thinking about the next challenge, which is Portugal”.
It remains the supreme irony that England’s only win came against Wales, a contest in which Roy Hodgson’s men were able to summon a sense of superiority.
“It is a bit tough, I think, at this level when there’s so much on the games, so much pressure on the players – two yellow cards in five games is a little bit tight, a bit tough”.
“As a group of lads, we’re just proud that we’ve done the nation proud”, he said. “There’s a lot of adrenaline going”.
Wales fought back from a goal down to beat the Belgians 3-1 in Lille thanks to goals from Ashley Williams, Hal Robson-Kanu and substitute Sam Vokes. “We’ve definitely done that”.
Robson-Kanu was not offered a new deal by Reading at the end of last season and his performances for Wales during Euro 2016 have done his chances of a move up the leagues no harm.
“It is about this team showing what we are capable of doing and getting to the final”.
Wales captain Ashley Williams was hardly hindered by Lukaku when he headed in for the equalizer from a corner taken by Aaron Ramsey.
Here’s how #WAL swept #BEL aside and set up a #EURO2016 semi-final v #POR…
“So, they got an early goal, which was not what we wanted because then, had we let them get in their stride and in their rhythm, it would have been a tough night but these boys were straight back at the Belgium lads”, added Coleman.
“We knew we had it in us, we obviously had a game plan”. We covered every blade of grass.
“We made too many mistakes to win this match against a very good Wales side”.
“We could’ve played better but I can’t really explain why we kept dropping off”.
The Belgian fans, on the other hand, were far less bitter and even offered Welsh fans a guard of honor as they march into the semi-finals to take on Portugal on Wednesday.

Ramsey covered his face with the front of his red Wales shirt, understanding right away the outcome of his action – he won’t be playing against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
