Walmart free shipping day: 2015’s last-minute holiday shopping just got cheaper

More than 900 retailers are offering free shipping today with no minimum purchase as a part of Free Shipping Day on Friday. Free Shipping Day also offers a remedy for those anxious about finishing, in addition to free shipping and various deals.

No minimum purchase is required to receive the free shipping. AL.com reports the company had previously only been offering free in-store pickup or free delivery on orders over $50.

Purchases are guaranteed by each retailer to arrive by Christmas Eve.

According to a Gallup poll, Americans plan to spend an average of $830 on Christmas gifts this year, compared to $720 in 2014.
