Kobe Bryant Has ‘Zero’ Thoughts About Rethinking Retirement After 31-Point Game
I wish I had a chance to guard Russell [Westbrook] a little bit tonight, because those are the things that I’ll miss. In the past, Bryant wore an nearly angry expression from start to finish, a sign of his ferocious competitive drive.

The Broncos (11-4) overcame a 14-0 first-half deficit in clinching their fifth consecutive playoff berth and denying the Bengals (11-4) their first road win on a Monday night since 1990.

The country’s finance ministry said the deficit is considered an acceptable figure under the current circumstances. If the reports turn out to be true, this can possibly result in an increase in oil prices in India also.

Running back C.J. Anderson added a 39-yard touchdown run for Denver, which can lock up the AFC West title with a win over the San Diego Chargers in the regular-season finale at home on Sunday. His 39-yard field goal on October 4 in Minnesota with 1:51 left in regulation gave the Broncos a 23-20 win, and he kicked the game-winner in OT on October 18 to give the Broncos a 26-23 win in Cleveland. The Broncos snapped a two-game skid with its third overtime win of the season. The Sanu touchdown capped a 13-play, 90-yard drive as the Bengals continued to chew up the clock against Denver’s top-ranked defense.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Cleveland Browns, 17-13, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on Sunday afternoon. The Heisman Trophy victor led Cleveland to 10 straight points, then took over at his 30 with 1:52 left and no timeouts.

Finally, a Brandon McManus field goal late in the second quarter put the Broncos on the board, and set the tone for the furious comeback to come in the second half.

The Bengals lost a chance to clinch a first-round bye, but getting a week off is still an option.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback AJ McCarron (5) throws against the Denver Broncos during the second half of an NFL football game, Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, in Denver.

Coming into their Monday Night Football game against the Bengals, the Broncos were facing a reality where they could fall all the way to the sixth seed, or miss the postseason entirely, with a series of calamitous outcomes.

Cincinnati’s backup quarterback accepted the full blame for mishandling an overtime snap that was recovered by Denver pass rusher DeMarcus Ware, sealing the Bengals’ fate. Sanders’ longest gain went for 35 yards, but Brock Osweiler badly under-threw him on the play after Sanders roasted CB Dre Kirkpatrick.

The 20-17 overtime clash can basically be summed up as a tale of two halves, with the Bengals dominating the first and the Broncos dominating the second. The ball fell to the ground and was called an incomplete pass. After a review it was upheld despite appearing to be a fumble.

McCarron also hurt his left wrist on the play.

That’s when they got the ball back for an 11-play, 46-yard drive to tie the game on a 52-yard Nugent field goal with 6:45 remaining.

The field goal was the first salvo of a 17-point sprint that put the Broncos in front by the fourth quarter.

Second-and-10 from the Bengals 33. Nothing special. We really just honed in, one play at a time. “(The players) knew I was going to come back.

“Sometimes, that’s just how the game goes”, Osweiler said.

McCarron completed five passes for 47 yards on the Bengals’ opening possession, including a 5-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver A.J. Green, who outjumped cornerback Aqib Talib to make the catch in the corner of the end zone.

After that, he found it tough to sustain drives against Denver’s defense, which is ranked No. 1 against both the run and the pass and held McCarron to 200 yards passing and the Bengals to 3.3 yards a carry. “That’s what won the game”. He left his microphone on in the closing minutes of regulation like in a State Farm commercial and twice had to pick up flags thrown even though the Bengals had declared an extra lineman as an eligible receiver and it had been announced.
