Today looks fantastic! Temperatures rise to around 60 for our highs – a few spots will make it into the lower 60s!

Our next cold front is expected to come through the area Sunday. By late afternoon we’ll have cooled into the low 40s and Tuesday evening we may see a few snowflakes though, right now, no accumulation is expected.

MONDAY: Some showers are possible for Monday as a weak cold front sweeps through the region. Any rain is expected to stay out of our area, but southeastern counties could see a sprinkle or two. Wednesday will begin mild with the high for the day, in the 50s, happening just after midnight. Some of these storms could be on the strong side, possibly even severe with heavy downpours, gusty winds, and hail.

Tuesday night, our second chance for rain this week arrives. We’ll have periods where we’ll see more clouds than sun today, but that sunshine quota will increase for the weekend! The track of the low is along the Interstate 10 corridor along the Northern Gulf Coast and looks to allow rain showers to remain in the forecast for Thursday and into Thursday night.

Ample sunshine combines with a breezy southwesterly wind will take temperatures into the mid and upper 60s on Sunday.
