Temperatures on Thursday will be even warmer as they top out in the low 70s.
The wind will remain rather breezy through the night into Thursday with gusts upwards of 20 miles per hour possible.
The cooler air will be noticeable Thursday night into Friday as temperatures fall into the 40s by Friday morning.
Wednesday will be another warm, dry, and windy day with an extreme fire threat.
After a dry Friday and Saturday, we’ll have a chance for more rain late Sunday. High pressure will be centered off the Carolina coast which will help bring that warmer air in, but also keep clouds away. New England will be on the warm side of the storm, but it may take a while for the warm front to reach CT.
Temperatures will tumble 35 degrees over the next four days.
Heavy rain will develop before sunrise Thursday. We’ll start out the day with a mild southerly wind, but winds will shift to the northwest behind the front.
We will have a little morning rain before things dry and clear out during the afternoon. Mostly sunny skies, and warm temperatures will continue into the weekend.
Saturday will be sun filled but slightly cooler with high temperatures in the upper 50s. Or if it stays north of the region, we’ll see temps soar into the mid 60s.
