Another lovely March day is expected in the Southland with warm temperatures and sunny skies.

For tonight, we’ll find mainly clear skies. By next week, we’ll be tracking drier weather and highs rebounding into the 50s and 60s.

Areas of fog will be possible again early Thursday. Afternoon highs will range from the low to mid 70s west to upper 70s to around 80° east. Gusty west winds will accompany the front, and this will generate an increased fire danger over Western Missouri.

A series of weak fronts Wednesday and Thursday will generate a few clouds, but also usher in cooler temperatures by mid-week. Temperatures dipped into the mid 40’s to low 50’s overnight in the valley, and into the mid 20’s to mid 30’s in the mountains. Sunshine returns for Friday with highs in the mid-60s.

A storm will approach the area on Friday.

The weekend will begin cold and damp.

Saturday morning should see temps in the 40s and highs near 60-degrees, and under clear skies Sunday morning, we could see temps in the mid-30s and highs only warming into the upper 50s.
