Warming up briefly with rain and then snow on the way

Expect a mostly sunny pattern through the day and with a light south wind returning, highs will climb back into the mid to upper 50s.

Skies will be sunny on Monday, and our temperatures will continue to climb. Afternoon high temperatures will be around 27 degrees. North wind 5 to 9 miles per hour becoming light northeast after midnight. Lows will be in the mid-30s with partly cloudy sky conditions.

High pressure moving slowly eastward into the in the St. Lawrence Valley from the northern Great Lakes will sustain mainly dry weather through the rest of this week and through the weekend, according to NWS forecasters.

Tuesday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 9pm.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 45. Winds could gust as high as 28 miles per hour.

Winds shift to the south ushering in warmer air for Sunday. No significant rain or strong thunderstorms are expected with skies otherwise mostly cloudy both Monday and Tuesday. Low near: 35. High near: 62.

Tuesday…Colder. Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly sunny. Low around 30. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.
