A Minneapolis-area doctor who treated Prince, including the day before his death, and was at Paisley Park the morning the singer’s body was found is the focus of the criminal investigation.

Prince saw a doctor the day before he died, according to a new search warrant connected to the singer’s death probe. The last time the doctor saw him was on April 20, which was the day before he died.
Several news outlets on Tuesday also obtained a copy of a search warrant that authorities say was supposed to have been filed under seal.
Schulenberg’s attorney, Amy Conners, declined to comment to AP after a search warrant was issued for Paisley Park, citing patient confidentiality. What’s more. we’re told the doctor never wrote prescriptions using a name other than Prince Rogers Nelson. Last week, it was reported that a California addiction specialist named Dr. Howard Kornfeld had also been interviewed in connection with the case.
North Memorial Health Care employed Schulenberg.
“Detectives are revisiting the scene at Paisley Park as a component of a complete investigation”.
The police affidavit, which was obtained by the Los Angeles Times, states Dr. Schulenberg performed tests and prescribed drugs on both occasions for a mystery ailment. The warrant was executed where Schulenberg works at the North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, Minn.
Prince died six days after he fell unconscious in a private plane and had to make an emergency landing in western IL on April 15, where he was reportedly treated with an opioid overdose antidote.
Schulenberg, 46, worked at North Memorials Minnetonka clinic, said health system spokeswoman Lesa Bader.
A law enforcement official says investigators looking into Prince’s death are seeking to identify every doctor and pharmacy that may have supplied the singer prescription drugs, including online sources. Andrew Kornfeld was also the person who called 911. His flight back to Minneapolis made an emergency landing in Moline, IL.

Prince’s official cause of death has not yet been released. Kornfeld couldn’t immediately fly to Minnesota to meet with Prince, so he sent his son Andrew that night instead, he said.
