Warren Absent From Clinton Fundraiser With Female Senators

Earlier on Monday before the emails were released, Clinton was hit with renewed scrutiny for opening her State Department office to dozens of influential Democratic party fundraisers, former Clinton administration and campaign loyalists, and corporate donors to the Clinton Foundation, reported The Associated Press. Though later than any of her Republican rivals, all of whom have been to Orlando at least once, she’ll still get here ahead of her Democratic opponents, U.S. Sen.

According to CNN Clinton never mentioned the senator from Massachusetts’ absence, and even ignored a question about it after the event.

Last year, all of the female Democratic senators – including Warren – signed a secret letter to Clinton encouraging her to run for president.

Warren told the Boston Globe in September that she would likely endorse during the primaries but said at the time, ‘Right now that’s not where we are.’ Her spokeswoman declined to comment on the Clinton event.

Warren has been publicly pushing presidential candidates to support a bill that would put restrictions on the so-called “revolving door” between Wall Street and government, and is force in the Senate for stricter rules on the financial industry and consumer protection. “I know you can do it”. “You looked real”, he added.

Flanked by the thirteen female senators, Clinton gave a version of her stump speech, calling for automatic voter registration, paid family leave, a defense of Planned Parenthood and stringent gun control measures, delivering well-rehearsed lines. Her endorsement of any candidate would be potent, especially in New Hampshire, which borders her home state of MA.

Authorities have not accused Clinton of any wrongdoing, but Republicans have been very critical of her email practices. She received several emails of encouragement during that time. She also said it was unclear how many other kinds of USA military personnel, such as special operations forces and trainers, were needed. Warren has taken tough progressive positions that have set her apart from Clinton, opposing the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Keystone Pipeline.

“Hillary for America released a new video, ’44 Boys Is Too Many, ‘ featuring young girls reading letters they wrote to Hillary Clinton or discussing drawings they made about Clinton and why they support her campaign”.
