Warren Sapp, former NFL player, bitten by shark in Florida Keys
“It’s simple”, charter captain Jack Carlson wrote via text message while still cleaning up Wednesday afternoon.

While in the Florida Keys, Sapp was lobstering and came across the shark.
Two Conchs Charters, based in Marathon, Florida, posted a photo on Instagram of what appeared to be Sapp’s wounded arm (Warning: Contains graphic imagery).
Sapp later posted a picture on Twitter featuring his lobster haul, majority hopefully caught with a lot less drama.
“Warren Sapp attacked by a shark while lobstering????” While Sapp was going for a lobster, the shark got a piece of the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star’s left forearm.
Carlson added that Sapp may need stitches, but the incident didn’t put an end to the lobstering trip.

“The sharks hang around those lobster holes, because they feed on the lobster as well”, Carlson said. The Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee was reportedly okay after his tangle with the shark. Not much. When reached by the Times via phone, he spoke briefly before abruptly hanging up.
