Steph finished with 40 points on “Dell Curry Night”, leading the Golden State Warriors to their 20th consecutive win to open the season.

He finished with 40 points and sat out the fourth quarter.

Fellow guard Klay Thompson was the only other Golden State player in double figures in scoring with 21 points, including 15 in the first quarter. The Hornets played without starting center Al Jefferson, who is scheduled to miss the next two to three weeks with a strained left calf. Charlotte’s difficulty in fighting collectively for loose balls has taken them out of numerous games this season.

Andre Iguodala hit a 3-pointer, and James Michael McAdoo slammed home a lob pass from Marreese Speights to push the lead to 17 in the second.

Pistons 127, Suns 122 – Reggie Jackson scored 24 of his 34 points after halftime, and host Detroit rallied from 16 down in the fourth quarter to knock out Phoenix in overtime. After decades of people wondering who the next Jordan would be, and fifteen years of LeBron-Magic/Jordan comparisons, we now are seeing a new kind of basketball genius. “To do it in his hometown like this, 40 points in only three quarters”.

The visiting Toronto Raptors stormed from 17 down to clip the Atlanta Hawks 96-86; the Houston Rockets overcame an early 14-point deficit to beat visiting New Orleans 108-101; and the San Antonio Spurs spanked the visiting Milwaukee Bucks 95-70.

The current NBA Champions have now won 24 consecutive regular season games. Curry still holds the franchise record for most games played (701), points (9,839), field goals made (3,951) and 3-point field goals made (929).

Julius Randle had 15 points and a career-best 19 rebounds for the Lakers (3-15). We came in tonight with a game plan.

The Indiana Pacers stretched their winning run to six matches after overturning a narrow half-time deficit to the Los Angeles Clippers to run out 103-91 winners, with Paul George contributing 31 points.

The Hornets (10-8) shot just 37.2 percent from the field, including Kemba Walker’s woeful two of 16.

Curry isn’t the only one surprised and humbled at how well he’s been performing this seasons. He shot 10 of 11 from the field, including 5 threes.
