Warriors-Bucks feud continues as Draymond Green, OJ Mayo scuffle

And while this alone can easily sway a person to think this is an automatic win for the Warriors, everyone knows that the only blemish that Golden State have is through the hands of the Bucks at home.

Heading into Friday night’s game between the Warriors and Bucks, casual fans might have thought this was the second game in a crucial playoff series with all the chatter about revenge and respect.

The Milwaukee Bucks had already ended the Golden State Warriors’ season-opening streak and then dared to end their home winning streak at Oracle Arena.

The Bucks led by as many as 15 points and had a 93-85 lead entering the fourth quarter, but the Warriors outscored Milwaukee, 36-19, the rest of the way. “We’re trying to compete for a championship”.

So Mayo jawed with Green over that, then patted Green on the head. A couple of different players got involved before each one thing was broken up & both teams retreated to their locker rooms.

“No man is going to touch my head”, Green said.

Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder (99) keeps a ball inbounds over Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) and Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala (9) during the second half of the Golden State Warriors 124-119 double overtime win over the Boston Celtics at TD Garden. We do remember that stuff. The Warriors are 26-1 and are off until December 23 when they’ll host the Jazz.

If the Golden State Warriors treat the Bucks as if they are the Spurs or the Cavs they should not have any issues. Green also added nine rebounds and eight assists as Curry flirted with a triple double, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing nine dimes. “Just (to) give him some balance out there because he’s going to get every team’s greatest look every night”.

The Bucks have proven themselves to be one of the only teams who are able to stand up against the Warriors and they were the dominating force in the first three quarters of the game.

“His energy means so much to us”. At that point, Klay Thompson put the Warriors on his shoulders, scoring 11-straight points for Golden State to pull the Dubs within 66-56 with 1:52 left in the quarter.

Asked about the game plan, Curry said, “Get off to a good start, play better defense than we did in Milwaukee, take care of the basketball and get a win”.

“They hit shots and the tide turned”, Bucks coach Jason Kidd said.

Milwaukee’s lead ballooned to eight after Giannis Antetokounmpo scored the first five points of the second quarter.
