On a night where even more eyes were on Curry, Klay Thompson took advantage and opened the game with three consecutive baskets.

Stephen Curry’s father was honoured by the Charlotte Hornets at half-time on Wednesday night.

I’d say he was “inspired” by his dad, but we all know Curry does this kind of thing on an nearly nightly basis.

After his incredible third quarter, Curry sat out during the fourth to get some rest while the Warrior’s strong bench cemented the victory.

Recently named coach of the month, interim coach Luke Walton said “We don’t focus on the streak, we do’t talk about it a bunch in the locker room”. He shot 45.9 percent overall and 45.5 percent from long range. The final score was 116-99 in favor of the Warriors. The Warriors have now won 24 straight regular-season games dating to last season.

Curry has led the Warriors to a 20-0 start, with 19 of those wins coming in October and November.

Different guys step up on different nights”. The team will visit the Toronto Raptors in three days. Leading scorer Kemba Walker finished with just four points on 2-of-16 shooting.

Without Harrison Barnes again, Brandon Rush got the start, scoring 8 points on 3-4 shooting in a little over 20 minutes. Dell Curry was honored by the Hornets for his contributions over the years. Fifteen of those twenty-one points were in the first quarter, and Thompson was integral in developing an early lead over the Hornets.
