Warriors’ Draymond Green agrees to plea deal, avoids jail
Golden State Warriors forward and current Olympian Draymond Green has reportedly reached a plea deal in case involving an assault early this month in MI.

Earlier this month Green said of the case, “My attorneys are handling everything”.
Meyers said Green didn’t get special treatment because of his celebrity status.
The plea deal, reduces the charge against the Golden State Warriors star forward and former Michigan State All-American from misdemeanor assault to a noise violation, a civil infraction.
According to an ESPN report, Draymond Green will not serve jail time for the battery and assault charges he faced in MI. “We simply treated Mr”. He is also ordered not to contact alleged victim Jermaine Edmondson for a year. Unfortunately for Green the entire incident was witnessed by the police.
Green was accused of slapping Edmondson, a former MSU defensive back, outside a restaurant near campus.
Green played four years at Michigan State, reaching two Final Fours under Tom Izzo before being drafted in the second round by the Warriors. Head Coach Mark Dantonio said it was in Edmondson’s best interest to continue his playing career somewhere else. The NBA star, who is now practicing with Team USA as they prepare for the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, has publicly addressed the incident and also apologized to his USA basketball teammates.
