But Golden State, who trailed 55-32 early in the second quarter, battled back, with reigning National Basketball Association Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry scoring 13 of his 40 points in the fourth quarter.

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are marching towards a historic season and we’re not even halfway past November yet.

Danny Green and David West have yet to contribute to the Spurs, but as the season goes on, expect them to be fully utilised and come up with quality minutes for San Antonio.

Chris Paul scored a season-high 35 points, including 18 while igniting the Clippers in the opening quarter after missing two games with a sore right groin. But in the end, the lineup of doom saved the day, giving the Warriors a shot at history.

Another factor that played into the Bulls’ hands: former Warriors assistant Pete Myers knowing the Golden State personnel from his days as one of Mark Jackson‘s right-hand men. He had two turnovers and two fouls in the game’s first 4 minutes before spending the rest of the quarter on the bench.

For the fourth straight game, the Warriors had the first-quarter blues, falling behind by as many as 11, 23-12, with the Bulls hitting 10 of their first 15 shots.

Curry tallied 25 points, four assists and five rebounds and Barnes scored 20 to go along with nine rebounds. The last visiting team to win a regular-season game at Oracle Arena was Chicago, a 113-111 overtime victory January 27. The numbers get even more mind-numbing from there.

And the Warriors were winners once again, 106-94, for their 14th victory in 14 games this season. But again, another run by the Bulls helped close the gap as Chicago was only down three to the Warriors 50-47. Golden State’s bench then proceeded to take the lead as they outplayed the Chicago bench in the first half.

It was the Bulls who gave.

Dirk Nowitzki had 19 for Dallas, going 8 of 12 from the field and making all three of his 3-point attempts.

The Warriors started the game slow, much like Thursday night. Please don’t make the mistake of watching the Warriors, as they assault sports history, and assume that their astonishing ascent to a higher level means any Joe, Fred or Luke can guide them. “It’s definitely something we can learn from”.

BOSTON (AP) – Avery Bradley scored 21 points and Isaiah Thomas added 18 points and nine assists to lead Boston past Brooklyn. “Until we own that, we won’t get better”. “I got to be more aggressive offensively and look for my opportunities”.

The Warriors also joined the 1957-58 Celtics as the only defending champions to start 14-0 and won their franchise-record 26th home game in a row.

For the first time this season, Walton addressed the elephant in the locker room during his pregame speech to the players. 82-0, here they come.

“We wanted to protect our home court”, Curry said. For us, it’s something special.

“We have faith in all our guys and our lineups”, Walton said. We have to grind on the road.

“I look forward to guarding everybody in this league, especially a prime-time scorer like him”, Butler told ESPN after the Bulls’ win on Wednesday against Phoenix. “It’s a great goal, and it should be a fun game on Sunday”.

After the game, Thompson laughed when asked how opponents are supposed to crack this unit.
