After they beat the Detroit Pistons on Monday, the Warriors became the first western conference team to start 8-0 and recorded the 23rd straight home win, also a franchise record.

There are three games left on the road trip, with Sacramento first up on Wednesday night, then back to back games at the Staples Center, with another opportunity for a signature win against the Clippers on Saturday afternoon and then a matchup against the hapless Lakers on Sunday night. Point guard Reggie Jackson and backup forward Stanley Johnson scored 20 points apiece for the Pistons, who lost their ninth straight to Golden State. Andre Drummond added 14 points and 15 rebounds.

On the season, the Memphis Grizzlies average 91.0 points, 42.3 rebounds and 21.0 assists per game.

In Portland, LaMarcus Aldridge scored 23 points in his return to Portland, leading San Antonio over the Trail Blazers.

Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley, who scored four points on 1-for-12 shooting, was so annoyed, he immediately went to the team’s practice court to put up shots after the game. Kenneth Faried added 17 points for Denver. Drummond now has over 135 points and 135 through seven games.

Jordan – booed while warming up before the game, on every touch during it and every time he walked off the floor – had nine points and 11 rebounds with a minus-23 scoring margin while he was in the game. The Warriors have Stephen Curry to carry them through rough patches, as he did on Wednesday after catching fire.

In Dallas, Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high 31 points to lead the hosts over Los Angeles in DeAndre Jordan’s first visit since backing out on an agreement to sign with the Mavericks in free agency.

Rookie Jahlil Okafor finished with 21 points and a season-high 15 rebounds for the Sixers, who were without Nerlens Noel because of injuries to both wrists.

James took a knee to the leg Friday and said he would get round-the-clock treatment so he could play against the Pacers.

Love scored 22 points and had 19 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who haven’t lost since the season opener against Chicago.

Paul George made a pivotal go-ahead basket late and finished with 27 points to lead IN over Orlando. Detroit will not want to find itself behind in the fourth quarter again, hoping to make a huge run to steal a win like it did in Portland. “We’ve still got 73 games left to play”.

Curry helped the Warriors gain a few separation at the end of the third quarter, making two extremely hard threes.

Bogut made an immediate impact with four points and four rebounds in an eight-minute stretch.
