Curry, despite missing eight of his 11 three-point attempts, had 27 points to lead the Warriors, who improved to 8-0 at home this season and 26-0 in regular-season games since the Bulls’ last visit.

Note of note: The Warriors had fewer assists than an opponent for the first time all season, getting beat 22-20 by the Bulls.

Chicago may have to think about crossmatching in the backcourt, putting Butler on Curry for long stretches of the game.

Similar to their game on Wednesday, the Bulls picked up the pace on offense against a good defensive team in the Golden State Warriors.

Twice trailing by 23 points and down by 10 with less than five minutes left against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night, the Warriors somehow found a way to prevail 124-117 at Staples Center and extend their ideal record to 13-0. The Warriors can tie the National Basketball Association mark with a victory on Sunday in Denver.

In back-to-back possessions, Harrison Barnes finished off the Bulls as a member of the “Lineup of Death” with two threes. Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg indicated PG Aaron Brooks (hamstring) could be out through Thanksgiving.

Ryan Anderson hit six three-pointers and scored 30 points for the second straight game. However, Curry nailed a 3-pointer with 1:47 left, and Golden State never trailed again. He finished with 33 points and five rebounds. The shorthanded Bulls played without Derrick Rose (ankle), Aaron Brooks (hamstring) and Mike Dunleavy (back). They scored 10 unanswered points and at one point, Paul had singlehandedly outscored Golden State 18-16. Hinrich had nine points and two assists in the first quarter as Chicago got out to a big lead in the first quarter. Nikola Mirotic and Kirk Hinrich scored 18 and 17 points, respectively.

“He was there for shootaround, he gave a nice speech to the guys”, Walton said. “But it was great having him”. He adds so much to our team, even being on the plane and just joking around. It’s kind of like Mariano Rivera, if Mariano Rivera was not only a lights-out closer, but also a. 750 hitter who gets to bat in every spot of the order. “But by the time the game started, he wasn’t with us anymore”. He had two turnovers and two fouls in the game’s first 4 minutes before spending the rest of the quarter on the bench. “It’s something I’ll do more of, but it’s definitely part of our game plan”.

“It’s a no-brainer”, he said. “I don’t know why they’ve done it that way in the past. But it’s kind of silly”.

After wrestling the ball back from Joakim, Curry hurtles what appears to be trash towards the rim, only for Andre Iguodala to come flying in out of nowhere to throw it down on over Jimmy Butler. This win brings Golden State Warriors to an invincible 14 wins in a row.

It’s hard to imagine Curry continuing this level of play for 82 games, but if he comes close to playing this well for the entire season, it will be hard for Golden State to lose more than 12 times.
