Warriors outshine suns in 17th win
Golden State fell one shy of the National Basketball Association record for 3s set by Orlando on March 9, 2009, and matched by Houston, against the Warriors, on February 5, 2013. “We love the feeling of winning and our confidence is high right now”.

The Golden State Warriors improved to 17-0 defeating the Phoenix Suns 135-116 on what proved to be somewhat of a historic night. Still, the expectation is he will miss some time, and Golden State will be without its dominant “death lineup” of Green-Barnes-Andre Iguodala-Klay Thompson-Curry. In the first half, Golden State shot 66 percent overall but was even better from 3-point range at 75 percent.
“We shoot a lot of threes, but we like to shoot a lot of good ones”, said Curry, whose team shot a season-high 57.9 percent from beyond the arc.
Steph Curry led the charge, scoring 41 points, his fifth game this season of 40 or more. “This year they are honoring us twice not just once and we are very excited”, the three friends chimed.
Even on a night when the Warriors cruised to a 19-point victory and almost set a new National Basketball Association record for made three-pointers in a game, Walton made a point of focusing on the team’s turnovers (23) and sloppy defense (116 points allowed) instead.
“I’m always looking for ’em, me personally”, point guard Shaun Livingston said of setting up 3-point shooters.
Curry went on to admit how much he enjoys watching Messi play, and spoke of the appreciation he has for the forward.
It caught the attention of Jeff Hornacek as the Phoenix head coach prepped to face the Warriors. “Once they’re hot, you try to get guys going”. Harrison Barnes left the game with 9:03 remaining in the third quarter after suffering an ankle injury.
“It was kind of a bittersweet victory with one of our teammates going down”, Livingston said. The Knicks have started the season playing above expectations despite losing three in a row, as they have eight wins now and did not get to number six until January last season.
Paul George poured in 33 points as the Indiana Pacers saw off the Chicago Bulls 104-92 to record their 10th win in their last 12 outings.
Mark Tandoc, rooted from Iligan City and Bulacan of the 600 Hands, shared that they’ve been having the heritage nights 6-7 years first with the Giants and then with the Warriors. “It’s a long season”.

Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton was not aware that his team broke yet another franchise record.

“That’s pretty good”, Walton said, smiling. The team had finished and the place was empty, except for one lone player, still on the court, repeatedly practicing a couple of deceptive moves ending in jump shots.
