Hardly himself through the first three games of the NBA Finals, Curry silenced his critics by pushing the Golden State Warriors within one win of making more history in this season of seasons.

The Warriors have clinched their only two championships out West on the road, previous year at Cleveland and in 1975 at Washington with a sweep of the Bullets.

James and Green got tangled up on the play, and James stepped over Green as the two got up – a move widely viewed as a show of disrespect in league circles.

Golden State’s win in Game 4 was its 88th of the 2015-16 season (NBA-record 73 in the regular season, 15 in the playoffs), breaking the league record it had shared with the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls (72, 15). Green also extended his arm once he got to his feet in an apparent attempt to push James, and the two subsequently scuffled briefly under the basket. After further review of an incident that occurred late in Game 4, the National Basketball Association flagged Green with a “Flagrant Foul 1′”. Draymond, we know it’s going to kill him not being there, but we’re going to go out there and do it as a team and win for him.

“All the slander”, forward Draymond Green said of the criticism directed at his team. But he crossed the line last game.

The Warriors’ chief coach is pretty happy with the performance delivered remarked “I feel pretty better that my boys have reclaimed their skill back”. We said what we had to say. “I’m all cool with the competition”. The Warriors lead the series 3-1.

Whether or not Kerr is frustrated by Green’s postseason behavior – he said he is more disappointed for Green not getting to play – there is little time to focus on that now. He only missed one game all regular season, a 112-110 defeat at Denver on January 13 and one of only nine losses.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has told his players that Monday night’ s clinching-potential game will not be an easy task.

Still, James has confidence the Cavs can bring the series back to Cleveland for Game 6.

“It’ s probably going to be even more intense on Monday”.

“He’s one of those players that does whatever it takes for his team to win”. Kevin Love returned to the lineup after missing Game 3 with a concussion and added 11 points off the bench.

The best part of this entire video is official Mike Callahan going back and forth as he looked at both players during the exchange. “You can’t keep guys like that down forever”.

Emotional, too, so it seems.

James wasn’t expecting Green to be disciplined and said he was just waiting to see how the National Basketball Association would handle the situation.

Klay Thompson might also have fallen down LeBron’s likable list Sunday. “They act like we’re up”. I guess his feelings just got hurt. I’ve heard a lot of bad things out there, but at the end of the day we’re competitive people. “Some guys just react to it differently”. “I just try to ignore it or let it fuel the fire, but I don’t carry it with me when the job is done”.

Yet James considered it all inappropriate and said he and his teammates reviewed the sequence on video.

Then Curry’s wife, Ayesha, chimed in on Twitter: “High Road”. “I’ve been doing it for 13 years”.

“But I’ve got to continue to be aggressive for our team”.
