Warriors stave off Bucks
Green slapped it away and Khris Middleton then pushed Green. “But if it affected some of our guys, I’m OK with it. It just means one more reason to be motivated when we go out there and play”. I was able to get a couple of buckets and spark our run.

It was the Bucks who handed the Warriors their first and only loss of the season last Saturday in Milwaukee, but the Warriors managed to pull out a win at home in response.
The Warriors (26-1) fended off a second upset attempt by the Bucks (10-18), who snapped Golden State’s winning streak at 25 games last Saturday.
Monroe leads Milwaukee averaging 16.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Three Stephen Curry free throws later, the Warriors had tied the score at 100.
Green had 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, and Ezeli contributed a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double for the Warriors, who were playing for the second time on a five-game homestand. Klay Thompson activated robot mode in the third quarter, scoring 27 of his game high 43 points. They put themselves in a position to win the game, just came up short.
The Bucks had promise entering the season because of their young and talented roster, but so far, they have yet to find their groove and are at 10-17, 13th in the Eastern Conference.
Thompson hit back-to-back 3-pointers and Curry bombed in a long 2-pointer as Golden State forced a Bucks timeout at 83-80 with 3:26 remaining in the quarter. “We use our length on the defensive end and on the offensive end and we try to make it as tough as possible for them”.
“We caused our struggles”.
Few would have imagined this to happen but many thought that the Warriors would eventually run and catch-up to get the win. “He said “it is hurting”, Walton said.
Inasmuch as the Bucks led for most of this game’s 48 pulsating minutes, this victory was the result of more resilience and determination as the Warriors have shown in any game this season.
Lesson: Don’t come for Warriors fans unless they send for you. The first quarter ended with the Warriors down 33-36 and by half the scoreboard read 58-70.
Up 112-108, Curry found an open Andre Iguodala for a corner three, putting the Warriors up seven for their biggest lead of the night, and the Warriors hung on for the nine-point win.
“We just didn’t defend”.
“We were searching”, Green said.
On defense, the Bucks once again pestered the Warriors with their length.
The Warriors talked payback for the loss and Carter-Williams’ boisterous celebration following a late dunk that riled up Golden State.
“Dude, you lost your (starting) spot”, Green said at the time. Green brushed Mayo’s arm off, and some pushing and shoving between the teams ensued.

Point guard Michael Carter-Williams had 24 points for the Bucks, who forged double-digit leads on two occasions before suffering a fifth loss in their last six games.
