Warriors stretch record start to 17-0
Curry scored 41 pts.in three quarters, Draymond Green had a triple-double and the Golden State Warriors beat Phoenix 135-116 Friday night, extending their NBA-record start to 17-0. The 22 3-pointers represent a franchise record. But Golden State, with Curry and Thompson back in the game, were able to keep the Bulls at bay as the lead stayed at three points for a while.

The Suns shot 56 percent in the first half, but the Warriors’ first-quarter spurt created a 17-point gap proved to be the winning margin. Just like the rest of us, these players had to pick a user name, register for an account and compose that first tweet.
“That’s good passing, and we try to teach our guys the same thing”. The Bulls limited Curry to two points in the second period and just 10 in the half. Instead, the Warriors got two wide open layups and some more Steph, which was more on the Suns than it was Curry being magnificent. For the fourth time this season, Curry did not play in the fourth quarter.
It caught the attention of Jeff Hornacek as the Phoenix head coach prepped to face the Warriors. Already the best shooter in the game, Curry got boosts to his Standing Shot Close, Standing Shot Medium, Moving Shot Close, and Moving Shot Medium attributes to help moving him up the one point. Golden State had a 75-57 lead at the break after matching its highest-scoring half in a so-far flawless season. The Warriors had a total of 44 pts scored in the first quarter, (most in a quarter, this season).
Walton was pleased the Warriors won again but wasn’t happy with one particular season high, as they committed 24 turnovers. His nine 3-pointers were the most by any National Basketball Association player this season.
Here’s the conundrum though: Barnes is first on the depth chart at small forward in front of Andre Iguodala, meaning Iguodala now likely takes over in the starting five.
James Harden scored 50 points for the third time in his career to inspire the Houston Rockets to a 116-114 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, who have now lost a record 27 games in a row dating back to last season.

The Warriors next opponent, the Phoenix Suns, should not pose too much of a threat to their ideal streak. But a treacherous sequence looms as Friday’s visit to the Phoenix Suns begins a stretch in which eight of the next nine games are on the road.
