Steph Curry – the Golden State Warriors star, Charlotte native and a close friend of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton – will be at Levi’s Stadium Sunday to bang the Panthers’ “Keep Pounding” drum before the game.

Stephen Curry is a HUGE Panthers fan. Curry beat the drum before Carolina’s home opener in September.

Curry wore a pair of specially made Under Armour shoes, Panthers blue kit for his duty.

“Having played in the National Basketball Association championships, it’s an unforgettable experience and something you want to be able to enjoy and embrace”.

Midway through the third quarter, Curry hasn’t had much too cheer about as the Denver Broncos lead 16-7. Also poppin’ as of late were Cam Newton and his Carolina Panters, who earned a trip to Super Bowl 50 after achieving a 15-1 regular season record for the 2015-16 National Football League calendar year.

The Panthers adopted the “Keep Pounding” mantra following a pregame speech given by former linebacker and coach Sam Mills before Carolina’s playoff game against the Cowboys on January 2, 2004.
