Curry drained five of 15 shots from beyond the arc as nearly half of his points came from 3-pointers. Last weekend’s overtime thriller might have been the most compelling regular season game of the season, but the Warriors have a bit more business to take care of Thursday night.

Stephen Curry turned an offensive rebound into a three-point play to highlight a 10-point, fourth-quarter spurt as the Golden State Warriors outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-106 on Friday.

The Warriors’ second win over the Thunder in 6 days was their 44th straight at Oracle Arena as they equalled the record set by the Chicago Bulls from March 1995 to April 1996. But he got more than enough assistance from his bench to help the Warriors (55-5) move 50 games above.

Luol Deng, a former Bulls standout, had 20 points, Goran Dragic had a double-double of 17 points and 11 assists and Dwyane Wade added 18 points and seven assists for Miami, who improved to 34-26 and are in fourth place in the East.

The Warriors trailed 80-71 with 4:52 remaining in the third quarter before beginning a comeback by holding the Thunder to three points the rest of the period to get within 83-82. The Warriors responded with a 9-1 run and went into the fourth quarter trailing by one.

Curry was listed as questionable with a sore left ankle. Andrew Bogut then stole the ball from Durant, leading to a dunk by Thompson that gave the Warriors a 12-point lead. Curry partially dressed before Tuesday’s game against Atlanta but never took the court, even during warm-ups to test his ankle. He showed few ill effects early from the injury, beating Durant with a nifty crossover for a layup for his first basket and hitting two 3-pointers in the first quarter to extend his streak to 130 straight games with a 3.

Durant, who also found time for 10 rebounds and nine assists, committed nine turnovers.

He posted four double-doubles and notched his first triple-double of the season with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 120-100 win over the Sacramento Kings on February 8.
