Kerr came back from his leave of absence on Friday during the game against the Indiana Pacers at Oracle Arena. Luke Walton resumed his role as Kerr’s lead assistant after having led the team to a record-setting start, though he was asked to draw up a play heading into the fourth quarter.
As per NBA.com stats, Golden State Warrior’s main man Stephen Curry finished the game with a triple-double figure with 39 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. In his first game since being “snubbed” from the All-Star starting lineup, Draymond Green scored 13 points on 6/7 shooting in the opening quarter.
“There’s a lack of spirit and connectedness that I just couldn’t accept”, Griffin said.
Kerr said. “You just stay at home and you just sit there and watch soap operas?”
Steph Curry led the Warriors with 39 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. The first matchup of the season between these apparent juggernauts marks the first time that teams with winning percentages over 85.0 have met this late in the season.
Backup center Myles Turner had a career-best 31 points and eight rebounds for the Pacers (23-20), who were missing point guard George Hill (birth of son), center Ian Mahinmi (sprained left ankle) and key reserve Rodney Stuckey (sprained right foot). When Dray told Kerr why he didn’t yell at him, Kerr responded, “Give me time, I’ll get warmed up here”. That part has died down and I’m feeling better.
The Warriors put up a 79-point first half – most in a first half in the National Basketball Association this season – on the way to a 131-123 road win at in on December 8.
Kerr during his playing days spent four seasons with San Antonio and never started a game.
Kevin Durant scored 24 points in the former Texas star’s first game in Dallas in nearly two years, and Oklahoma City extended its winning streak to a season-best seven games by holding on against the Mavericks.
“So proud of him”. “You see that (injury) happen and you don’t know if you’re ever going to play the game again, or walk the same again”. The Pacers were outrebounded 50-44.
The Dubs beat the Indiana Pacers 122 – 110 and are now 40-4 on the season. The Warriors haven’t lost at Oracle since a 113-111 overtime defeat to Chicago last January 27….
Yesterday’s Golden State win over the Indiana Pacers marked their third straight victory.
On Luke Walton drawing up a play because Kerr didn’t want to take over the clipboard even though he ended his TV interview early between quarters and the result of the play: “We do think everything is collaborative with our staff…”

He’s back now, after 43 games away, and just in time for all the good stuff.
