Cousins received some excellent support from Rajon Rondo, who scored 21 points, and Rudy Gay, who finished with 20. And I say that knowing that LeBron James is incredibly talented and gifted and is a great player, but what Curry’s doing is remarkable.
Which team stands the best chance of ending the Warriors streak? The Jazz provided a sort of blueprint for beating them, but it still wasn’t enough to get the job done.
The Warriors swept the season series against the Hornets previous year, winning by a margin of 15 points.
Hayward led the Jazz with 24 points. If they can learn to finish them off, they will become a great team themselves.
In addition to his 20 points, Green added nine rebounds and seven assists. Russell Westbrook had 34 points, including a drive with 2:49 remaining that gave the Thunder their first lead since scoring the opening basket.
